Fortnite Arrives On iOS With Battle Royale And How to Invite Only

Fortnite is one of the most popular, if not the most popular game at the moment. The game has dominated every platform it has come to, and now Epic Games has brought Fortnite to iOS. The iOS version is Fortnite Battle Royale, and focuses on the 100 play free for all Battle Royale mode. The game is completely free to download and play, but is launching in waves to help servers handle domain.

To achieve this, Epic is offering an invite system allowing you to sign up on their website to be notified when you can join, which hopefully won’t be too long.

If you’re unfamiliar with Fortnite, it’s an online multiplayer based third person shooter that emphasizes sandbox creation and survival mechanics.
You can gather resources by deconstructing game elements, and then use those resources to build fortifications. Each round begins with 100 players air dropping in from flying busses spread across a randomly generated map. It’s a survival challenge to see who is the last player standing, and the eye of the storm shrinks to condense the players on the map. The game is free to play with the ability to buy coins and game passes for perks.

Fortnite Battle Royale has come to iOS in its full form, and it’s just a waiting game until everyone can join.
